But Addison’s determined to stay, and he devises a creative plan involving optical illusions and magic tricks to do so. Though his efforts go awry, his failures lead to surprising outcomes. Addison is a well-meaning, lively character whose entertaining narrative is told in short, suspenseful chapters that keep the story moving.
